Bright Spirits

Most mornings the girls and I pray on our short drive to school.  This morning, Caroline asked God to give us “Bright Spirits” for the day.  There was just so much wrapped up in that one thought… a “Bright Spirit!”  I’ve thought about it all day.

What is a "Bright Spirit?"  Is it a cheery disposition?  Is it the face that reflects the merriment of the season?  Is it smiles?  Is it laughter?  Is it the reflection of an easy life?

Maybe.

Or maybe it is simply the reflection of a life full with Christ.  Inexpressible joy.  Christ in me, the HOPE of Glory.

Christmas.... a reminder that He is in the business of "Making Spirits Bright!" all because of Christ.

We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God,

that we may understand what God has freely given us.
