My Lighthouse

My girls love to sing.... like ALL.THE.TIME.  They sing pop, Disney, country, Gospel, rap.... you name it, they sing it.  It amazes me that they know the lyrics to so many.  It doesn't matter.  We're in the car, I change the station, they start singing the song.  I remember being able to do that.  Those days are long gone for me.  Even now, Rebecca is in the kitchen singing this little number.

So.... I've been struggling.  I've been having one of those seasons where I wrestle with doubt, feel like I'm failing, feel like He's silent, questioning things.  You ever have those???

We bought some new tunes last week.  Rend Collective's new album.  It's fabulous.  I am partial to their kind of praise.  Anyway, as we drove in the driveway late this afternoon, Caroline punched the CD player to number three... her favorite.  And we sat and sang in the driveway...

He'll use any way He can to remind us of His unconditional love for His children.  

And I'm so grateful.
