Her birthday is on December 27th. It's cold. It's Christmas. It's busy. We are usually out of town.
She's always wanted a "Birthday Pool Party".
So this week, on her half birthday, I spontaneously threw together a little surprise shin-dig to celebrate!
And all these little cutie patooties showed up for the celebration. Sweet friends!
The Cutliff Clan hosted this happy event at their pool!
This punkin' and Caroline share the same birthday...ten years apart! He came to celebrate with her.
On a quick trip to Wal-Mart, the day of the party, I found these adorable summer cupcakes in the case ready made!
Everyone sang "Happy Half Birthday to You!" and blew out a candle.
Caroline's buddy Allison gave her "half" of a birthday card. So cute!

ReplyDeleteOkay, I just *love* this!!!! My birthday is in December too (and I have a daughter with one too!) and I *always* wanted a pool party! :) Go, Alisa! Your daughter will always remember her "half" birthday. And whoever that friend is who made the creative half birthday card should get a major award - too cute!!!!!!! =D
