We were invited to "strawberry pick" this week, before the season really gets underway. It was a treat and we were excited.
As we were leaving the house...
Rebecca: "Mom, you're not really gonna wear that hat, are you?"
Me: "Yes."
Rebecca: "Mom, you look hilarious."
Me: "But it's the perfect hat for picking strawberries."
Rebecca: Hesitantly, "O.K."
Caroline recently told me she was glad I wasn't a normal mom.
